Nico Rosberg flew to Melbourne via Sydney, where he took to the skies in a seaplane on Monday morning. “It was fantastic,” says Nico, “but I found myself grabbing the edge of the seat as we came into land.”
Patrick Head was also in Sydney, where he was filling in for RBS ambassador Jackie Stewart at some functions for the bank. One question, Patrick: where were the tartan troos?
Perhaps the lack of tartan on Patrick had something to do with his Englishness. Today he revealed his signature dish: roast beef and Yorkshire pudding. “I take real pride in my Yorkshire puds,” he says. “You have to be very skilled to get them to rise properly.”
Red Bull boss Dietrich Mateschitz must like the name Seb because three of his four F1 drivers in ’09 have this first name. The symmetry doesn’t stop there: at Toro Rosso, Sebastiens Bourdais and Buemi both have Olivier as a second name.
