Barcelona Test: Day Two
Posted on Tuesday 18 Nov 2008 and tagged with barcelona, testing.
Nico Rosberg piloted the interim FW30 chassis at the Circuit de Catalunya today for day two of testing at the Barcelona track. Under dry conditions, the team continued to work through the 2009 development programme, which for this test includes set-up work with the new slick tyres and items from the team's revised aero package.
Nico concluded the day in P7 having set a 1:21.525 and covered the most laps of all drivers - 113 - a total of 526kms.
Dickie Stanford, Test Team Manager:
“Nico Rosberg joined us today to carry on set-up and development work with the new slick tyres. Once again we were also running components from the 2009 aero package and experienced no mechanical problems with the car. Tonight we will convert the chassis back to Nico Hulkenberg’s set-up who resumes testing tomorrow.”
