Oris Launch New Kazuki Nakajima Timepiece

To mark Kazuki Nakajima’s debut season in Formula One, Oris, Official Watch Partner of the AT&T Williams team, has created the Limited Edition Oris Kazuki Nakajima Day Date, a dynamic watch in black, PVD-coated stainless steel. Only 1,088 timepieces have been created, all of which are individually numbered.

Oris 2 The design of the watch reflects Kazuki’s world and takes inspiration from his Williams-Toyota FW30. The transparent back casing offers a glimpse into the mechanical movement of the watch and shows the famous Oris red rotor, which also features Kazuki’s official logo.

Oris 3 The rubber strap bears the distinctive F1 tyre tread pattern and the openings on the dial were inspired by the breathing slots in Kazuki’s racing helmet. The stainless steel case and crown are also black PVD-coated to add an extra injection of Kazuki's racing style.

Oris 1 Kazuki’s 2008 racing number (8) is highlighted on the minute scale top ring and his signature appears in red below the middle of the dial. The final, specially designed feature is the second hand which takes the red and white colours of the Japanese flag. The watch has all the hallmarks of an Oris motorsport watch, including the trademark flexible lugs which ensure a perfect fit on every wrist.

Oris' Limited Edition Kazuki Nakajima Day Date timepiece is a must for every Kazuki fan – the man himself wears watch number 8, an enduring reminder of his first full season in Formula One.
