Kazuki's Brazilian Blog: Thursday

I have very good memories of Interlagos. It was here that I made my Grand Prix debut last year and I had a good race, climbing up from 19th on the grid to finish 10th. It’s a challenging track to drive and, being run in an anti-clockwise direction, it’s very physical over a race distance.
I’ve done a lot of training on the left side of my neck to prepare for the race. I flew straight from the Chinese Grand Prix to England and spent the next week either in the gym or at the factory in Grove. It was nice to be back in Oxford, although the weather was pretty cold – but that’s to be expected in England in late October.
I then flew to Brazil on Sunday night, arriving in Sao Paulo on Monday morning and since then I’ve done a bit of training and some PR work. On Wednesday night I played five-a-side football with some of my mechanics and scored a few goals, which was good fun; let’s hope I can have a similar level of success on the racetrack!
