Nico Rosberg and Kazuki Nakajima aren’t the only members of AT&T Williams enjoying the challenge of Spa-Francorchamps this weekend. Liam Clogger, Williams Head of Communications and London Marathon wannabe, led a group of runners around the 4.352-mile track this evening, coming home in just over 30 minutes. Account managers Phil Kennard and Millie Graham-Enock clocked a similar time on their lap, while Chief Mechanic Carl Gaden and colleague Mark Pattinson ran separately and couldn’t tell us their lap time because Carl’s watch broke mid-lap. Apparently.

One man who isn’t going to be running anywhere at Spa is Nico Rosberg. He was given a new mountain bike at a Randstad event last Monday and loves his new toy. “I really enjoy mountain biking and this is a really special bike,” he says. “It’s light; it has great suspension and lots of gears. I want to use it all the time!”

On yer bike, Patrick! When Belgian TV broadcaster RTBF decided to interview Kazuki en route to the track this morning, our Engineering Director Patrick Head’s place in the car was taken by the network’s Caroline Hick. I’m sure she’s prettier than Patrick, Kazuki…….

iWitness will be looking out for sore heads in the F1 paddock tomorrow morning. Tonight, you see, is the team press officers’ annual knees-up, so lots of booze will be consumed and gossip generated. And no doubt Liam and Silvia will have a go at karaoke, as usual…
