Kazuki's Hungarian Blog: Thursday
Posted on Thursday 31 Jul 2008 and tagged with kazuki, blog, hungary.
The weather conditions at the Hungaroring are unbelievably hot. The air temperature is nudging 30 degrees and the track temperature is 44, which makes a nice change from Silverstone and Hockenheim but could prove tough on tyre wear in the race. At least we were able to prepare for the heat at the Jerez test last week, where it was as hot – if not hotter – than it is here.
Aside from that test in Spain, I’ve been in England since the German Grand Prix. The weather was sunny, so I was able to train outside and I even played some softball. For those of you who aren’t familiar with the game, it’s a bit like baseball and a friend of mine is a member of a Japanese team based in Birmingham. I joined them and we won a match, which was fun. Let’s hope it was an omen for a good weekend in Hungary!
