Kazuki's Friday Blog in Spain

Another race, another hotel room.
Unfortunately, I don’t have a motorhome at the European races like Nico [Rosberg], so I’m staying at the Ciutat de Granollers hotel this weekend (as you can see, it's not the prettiest of hotels!). When the traffic’s clear it’s only 15 minutes from the track, but there’s so much excitement for Fernando Alonso in Spain that there’s usually a big queue to get in and out of the track.
This morning we took half an hour to get into the circuit, so I guess we’ll have to leave earlier tomorrow morning (unless one of these Barcelona buses can give me a ride, but I don't think anyone abides by bus lanes over here!). It shouldn’t be as bad as Silverstone, however, where I’m told drivers used to get into the track at 0530 on race morning to avoid the queues!
The Ciutat is a comfortable place: the pasta’s good and the rooms are clean, but it’s not like home!
