Back to the future. AT&T Williams drivers Nico Rosberg and Kazuki Nakajima swapped the pitlane for the catwalk yesterday when they modelled some retro team gear for clothing partner, McGregor. They seemed to enjoy the photoshoot – or was it the company of McGregor’s Spanish model that they liked?

The AT&T Williams’ marketing team were in a hurry to leave the Formula One paddock this evening. The last iWitness heard, they were heading into Barcelona to celebrate Account Manager Phil Kennard’s 25th birthday at the city’s Olympic Port. See you at lunchtime tomorrow, guys…

Queens Park Rangers met Real Madrid in the paddock yesterday. Flavio Briatore, owner of QPR, invited Madrid’s chairman Ramon Calderon into the Renault motorhome, where it’s believed Flavio downloaded him about running a football team. Luckily for Calderon, it’ll be a few years before the two teams meet on the pitch.

A movie about the life of Michael Schumacher is being mooted and, wait for it, the seven-time World Champion might play himself. Michael made his Hollywood debut in CARS, where he did the voiceover for a Ferrari 430, and he’s also starred in a L’Oreal TV commercial. What other acting experience does a guy need?
