Kazuki's Thursday Blog in Spain

The best thing about the three-week break since Bahrain was not having to get on a long-haul flight. Instead, I chilled out at home in Oxford, visited the team at Grove, did some training and even visit a friend in London.
I live near Oxford’s bus station, so I caught a coach to London (£9 each way, if you’re interested…) and we spent the day on Oxford Street and Regent Street. It was good fun, but London’s quite manic, and it was nice to get home.
In the second week of the break I also did two days of testing at Barcelona. I drove on the first and last days and spent the intervening time at the house of my race engineer, Xevi Pujolar, who lives near Girona when he’s not in England. It was great to hang out with him away from the racetrack. And he’s not a bad cook!
Let’s hope we have a good weekend at the Circuit de Catalunya.
