To honour the 30th year of Williams F1, the team’s official watch supplier, Oris, has produced 300 pieces of a special Limited Edition watch - the Oris TT3 Formula Gold - in an 18 carat rose gold case.Shortly before the unveiling of the new AT&T Williams FW30, Ulrich Herzog, CEO and President of Oris, presented number 300 of the special limited series to Sir Frank Williams and Patrick Head, AT&T Williams’ Team Principal and Director of Engineering.
Ulrich Herzog said: “It’s a great honour for me to be able to present such a special Oris watch to these two pioneers of motor racing. Just as they live and breathe motor racing, we dedicate time, effort and passion to creating our watches. I’ve always felt that Oris and Williams are very similar in our approach to what we do and this evening has only underlined that fact. I hope that the Formula Gold watches will bring the team good luck for their 30th year in Formula One.”
Sir Frank Williams commented: "Patrick and I are honoured that Oris have celebrated the 30th anniversary of the team in this way and we are indebted to them for this magnificent gesture and their continuing support."
