Jerez Test Day Two
Posted on Thursday 18 Feb 2010
AT&T Williams were back on track in Jerez today with Rubens Barrichello at the wheel of the FW32.
Working under intermittently wet conditions, the team continued work on race preparations for the Bahrain Grand Prix, while the race team mechanics were also on hand to undertake pitstop practices.
With the rain falling on and off, the 4.428km track failed to ever completely dry out which compromised running conditions and prompted five red flags over the day.
Despite the disruptions, Rubens completed 98 laps on the way to setting the fastest time of the day, 1:27.145, over seven tenths quicker than seconds placed man, Vitaly Petrov in the Renault.
Nico Hulkenberg will resume testing work tomorrow with the team scheduled to carry out more pitstop practices, set-up work and, weather pending, a race simulation.
