Kazuki Nakajima had a lonely race at Interlagos this afternoon. After crashing out on lap 31, he had no means of getting back to the pits so he watched the remaining 40 laps of the Brazilian Grand Prix with the marshals at Turn 4. Luckily, it wasn’t raining like yesterday…

What do the AT&T Williams mechanics think of the team’s marketing department? Well, during yesterday’s streaming wet qualifying session (which lasted 2hrs40m) they asked account manager Richard Lavers to do Nico Rosberg’s pit board, yet in today’s bright sunshine they took the job back in hand. Nuff said?

There’s no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong clothes. Perhaps that’s why AT&T Williams’ Engineering Director Patrick Head elected to wear a pair of black brogues in yesterday’s rain, instead of the team’s regulation trainers. Are we right, Patrick?

Rubens Barrichello was magnanimous in defeat this evening. After Jenson Button won the World Championship, Rubens not only spoke highly of Jenson, he offered him his private jet. “Why don’t you stay tonight to have a party before flying home tomorrow in my private plane?” Wow – they must be proper team-“mates”!
