It’s 40 years since Jackie Stewart clinched his first world championship at Monza, so the 70-year-old Scot held a press conference in the AT&T Williams motorhome this morning to celebrate. There was champagne on offer too, bought by JYS himself. “Bear in mind that I am a board member of Moet & Chandon,” said the Scot.

Patrick Head gave an interview to Italian magazine Yacht Capital today in which he talked about the boat he built, Barkis, prior to joining forces with Frank Williams in 1977. The Ferris Hull design (a wooden hull lined with Ferris cement to make it watertight) is now moored in Southampton, but Patrick receives regular letters from its owners to inform him of its endeavours.

Veronica Hoffer made her Formula One debut this afternoon when she visited the AT&T Williams motorhome. The eight-year-old daughter of our PR guru Silvia loved the experience. “When I grow old like you, mummy, I’d like to do your job,” she said. Surely not that old…!

Kazuki Nakajima arrived in the Monza paddock this morning clutching a large bundle of coffee table magazines. The front cover has a picture of him topless on it and the entire Japanese magazine is about AT&T Williams. “It’s very beautiful,” says Kazuki. The picture of you on the front cover, Kazuki, or the magazine?
